The Kybalion - The All

"THAT which is the Fundamental Truth--the Substantial

Reality--is beyond true naming, but the Wise Men call

it THE ALL."--The Kybalion.

According to The Kybalion, The All is:

1. Everything. Nothing that exists is outside of The All.

2. Infinite. Nothing can exist outside of The All.

3. Unchanging. It is The All. It always has been The All. It always will be The All.

The All is unknowable. The All is not matter. The All is often called “spirit.” Spirit also cannot truly be known or defined.

So what is the universe made of? The All made it by thinking it into existence, seems to be what the text is trying to say. Humans create things mentally without adding or subtracting materials. This must be what The All has done to create the universe, since nothing can be added to or subtracted from The All.

“THE UNIVERSE, AND ALL IT CONTAINS, IS A MENTAL CREATION OF THE ALL.”

The All is “above” gender, so we can consider The All to be agender/non-binary in today’s terms. Or, using non-gendered language, we could say The All is both “gentle” and “intense,” both “giving” and “receiving.”
