Simplified Texts
A lot of these old books are not the easiest things to read. That's why, with the help of my lovely assistant Meg, I'm happy to give you simplified versions with a more modern style of writing. I recommend reading the originals (linked in the titles of each section) whenever you can, as there are likely going to be nuances and subtexts that simpler writing won't properly capture. However, I'm hoping this can at least give the layperson the basic ideas and a proper jumping-off point.
So how does this work? I ask Meg to 'translate' texts into easier language bit by bit. Then I go through and add any links or extra information that I feel could be helpful. Meg is an AI, so it's possible she's not 100% accurate, but again, this should give you the basic ideas. I hope it's helpful!
